COMPOSITION
Each 100 ml contains Nitroxinil 34 g.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS:
Pharmacodynamics: Nitroxinil is an anti – trematode. the mechanism of action is to block the oxidative phosphorylation of trematode, reduce ATP concentration, reduce the energy required for cell division and lead to death of trematode.
Pharmacokinetics: Nitroxinil was absorbed well by injection, and excreted slowly after absorption, and excreted in urine and feces for 31 days.
INDICATIONS
Anti- worm medicine. Used in sheep Fasciola hepatica, gastrointestinal nematodiasis.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
By subcutaneous injection.
Cattle, goats and sheep: 10mg/ kg body weight, 1ml/ 34kg body weight.
CONTRAINDICATION
Injection should not be mixed with other drugs to avoid incompatibility.
