Animal Use Enrofloxacin Injection 10%
Animal Use Enrofloxacin Injection 10% is colorless to pale yellow clear liquid. Enrofloxacin injection is used for bacterial disease and mycoplasma infection in livestock and poultry.Enrofloxacin Injection 10% is a synthetic anti-infective of the fluoroquinolone class. Enrofloxacin Injection 5% is effective against the following microorganisms: Mycoplasma spp., E. coli, Salmonella spp., Bordetella spp., Pasteurella spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Staphylococcus spp.Enrofloxacin Injection is for intramuscular intravenous and subcutaneous administration.Enrofloxacin Injection Cattle has a potential stimulant effect on the central system, and the dog with epilepsy can be used with caution.Carnivores and kidney dysfunction in animals with caution, occasional crystallization of urine.
Composition:

Indications:
Enrofloxacin Injection 10% is a synthetic antiinfective of the fluoroquinolone class.
Enrofloxacin injectionis indicated for the therapy of infectious diseases in pigs where clinical
experience,supported if possible by sensitivitytesting of the causal organisms, indicates Enrofloxacin
as the drug of choice.Respiratory and enteric diseases (Pasteurellosis, Mycoplasmosis, Colibacillosis,
Colisepticaemia and Salmonellosis) and multifactorial diseases such as atrophic rhinitis, enzootic
pneumonia and metritis-mastitis-agalaxia syndrome in sows.
Contra indications:Do not exceed the recommended dose. In accidental overdosage there is no antidote and treatment
should be symptomatic. Local tissue reactions may occasionally occur at the injection site.
Normal sterile precautions should be taken.
Dosage & Administration:
For intramuscular intravenous and subcutaneous administration.
Cattle
For respiratory and alimentary infections in cattle and secondary bacterial infections: administer by
subcutaneous injection.2.5 mg enrofloxacin per kg bodyweight daily by subcutaneous injection for 3
days. This rate may be doubled to 5 mg/kg bodyweight for 5 days for salmonellosis and complicated
respiratory disease. Not more than 1000mg should be administered at any one subcutaneous injection
site.For E. coli mastitis: administer by slow intravenous injection. 5 mg/kg bodyweight daily for 2 days.
Pigs
For respiratory and alimentary infections in pigs and secondary bacterial infections: administer by
intramuscular injection.2.5 mg enrofloxacin per kg bodyweight daily by intramuscular injection for 3 days.
This rate may be doubled to 5 mg/kg bodyweight for 5 days for salmonellosis and complicated
respiratory disease. Not more than 250mg should be administered at any one intramuscular injection
site in store pigs or 500mg at any one intramuscular injection site in sows.
