Composition:
5%, 10% and 20% (per 1ml contains Iron (as iron dextran) 50mg or 100mg or 200mg)
Indications:
Antianemic. Used in the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia and nutrient diseases mainly for calves and piglets. It can help to improve the rates of survive and gain body weights.
Contra indications: Administration to animals with vitamin E-deficiency.
Administration to animals with diarrhoea.
Administration in combination with tetracyclines, because of the interaction of iron with tetracyclines.
Dosage & Administration:
For intramuscular or subcutaneous administration:
Calves: 200-400 mg. subcutaneous, in the first week after birth. Piglets: 100 mg. intramuscular, 3 days after birth.

None
